Job Summary

The Business Assistant role presents an opportunity for the right candidate to join our team of Project Management and Land Development experts. The role will require the candidate to interact with a property management system and play the critical role of ensuring the information on the property management system is accurate and timely at all times from inception to completion of property transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for correctly entering key information in the property management system and uploading all necessary documentation for each property.
  • Provide support through the property management system for the smooth transition of property transactions.
  • Provide regular and timely reports to management.
  • Ensure that scheduled invoices and payment reminders are accurately sent to clients.
  • Attend to queries that clients may have during property transactions.
  • Ensure that client payments are accurately recorded.
  • Carry out basic accounting assignments.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2 years’ work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technology savvy with competence in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience with basic accounting/property management packages is an added advantage.

Personality Profile

  • Dedicated to the quality and accuracy of work.
  • Uses initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent at organizing information.
  • Comfortable with working independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to handle heavy workloads and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Flexible and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks.
