We are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER – KITWE
GRADE: I
CONTRACT: PERMANENT Â
Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
- Maintaining a safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment
- Managing and developing team
- Optimizing team processes
- Optimizing plant and equipment availability and reliability
- Optimizing process performance
- Managing planned maintenance system integrity and optimal usage
- Facilitating team problem solving and decision making
- Operating utilities plant and equipment
- Optimizing Maintenance reliability, availability, and cost
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Mechanical or Electrical Technologist Diploma
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
- 5 years experience as a mechanical or electrical technologist working on high-speed packing lines
- Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Motivated and results-oriented
- Influencing ability with regards to sound maintenance practices
