Beit CURE Hospital is a children’s charity hospital founded by a Christian Mission Organization, CURE International. We specialize in the surgical treatment of disabilities in Orthopedics and ENT. Position Details:
Position Title: Registered Nurse (01)
 Reports to: Nursing Matron
Location: Lusaka
KEY DUTIES
- Facilitate towards achieving quality care for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, surgeons and other members of staff to ensure smooth accomplishment of tasks
- Participate in setting goals and standards of the department and ensure that each staff understands them fully.
- Ensure proper documentation of all patients records
- Ensure adequate supplies available and inventory of all expendables is maintained always
- Always maintain a high standard of hygiene in the department to prevent infections
- Mentor and teach all new staff and help them to meet organizational set objectives
- Improve own skills and those of the rest of the staff by attending continuous education and transferring the knowledge to patient care
- Be sensitive to the spiritual aspect of patients and be ready to share the gospel with them
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned to by the Medical Director/ Matron
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Full grade twelve (12) certificate
- Diploma in Nursing, Degree will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience
- Valid practicing certificate
- Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) skills will be an added advantage.
 PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Must possess strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to effectively teach medical techniques & skills to other medical personnel
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with good listening skills
- Have a strong sense of personal and team accountability
- Able to multitask , fluent in English and two local languages
