A health food manufacturing company has an opening for the below position based in Lilayi, Lusaka.
Job Title: supervisory kitchen assistant/chef
Job Duties & Responsibility are, but not limited to, below;
- Maintain the kitchen
- Ensure all kitchen utensils and appliances are clean
- Ensure work areas are sanitized
- Keep the kitchen stocked and in working order
- Maintain food production records, notify supervisors when supplies are low, unpack deliveries, restock work areas.
- Ingredient and food portioning
- Prepare & cook ingredients
- Following the chef’s orders and recipes
- Pack and prepare deliveries
- Store & dispense of food and waste in the specified way
Requirement:
FEMALE, aged 27 & above
Grade 12 certificate
Fluent in English
Experience in the catering industry is a must
Must be able to maintain stocksheets and use their initiative
Fast thinker/learner
Knowledge of supervising others
Must live within Lilayi
