Shakespeare Court, Serviced Apartments, a Gospel Impact business, is enhancing our team by adding a Digital Marketing, Sales and Customer Service Executive.

About us

This organisation is a Gospel impact business, owned and run by Christians to a high standard. We want to improve our impact on people by recruiting additional staff.

The Role

We are looking for a well-qualified individual to:

  • Run our digital online marketing
  • Sell to customers face-to-face
  • Man reception 12 hours a day, 7:30am – 19:30 day shift and 19:30 – 07:30am night shift working 8 out of 14 days, covering 365 days a year with a team of colleagues, each on a different shift.
  • Lead the team on site when more senior people are off duty
  • Provide administrative support to the Managing Director

Duties and responsibilities

  • Running our online booking system including booking.com Expedia and Airbnb
  • Running online and email marketing campaigns from scratch
  • Check in /out guests courteously and efficiently
  • Process all payments
  • Handle guest complaints with diplomacy
  • Deal with reservation calls, process records and follow up on details related to such.

  • Good computer knowledge and accurate mathematical calculations
  • Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays

Qualifications & Experience

  • You must have grade 12
  • You must have a Further Education qualification or degree in either Hospitality or Marketing
  • You must have at least 3 year’s work experience (but many more would be an advantage).
  • You must have Digital Marketing experience
  • Ideally you will have Hospitality Industry experience as a Receptionist or front office agent with online marketing experience and/or
  • Online marketing experience and the ability to transfer this skill to the hospitality sector.
