Our Company is a growing Freight forwarder with presence in different countries in the region. We have been trading in Zambia for a number of years and are looking to grow our profile further.
We are currently looking for a Customs Manager.
Must Haves:
- At least 5 years in a Customs Supervisory/Managerial role.
- Proven Management and people skills with the ability to motivate, coach and discipline and Manage team members both within your immediate surroundings and at satellite stations
- Solid understanding of the ZRA laws and a firm grip on Asycuda World.
- Good record of relationships with the various port offices
- Strong work ethic to remain within the bounds of the law
- Service driven with an inbuilt need to work quickly and accurately, able to think outside the box
- Problem solving and good analytic skills,
- Good Computer skills
Nice to haves
- Solid working relationships with transporters and other potential business partners.
- Understanding of the full scope of forwarding Industry Requirements
