Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission into the United Church of Zambia University (UCZU) Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, Short Courses, and Masters programmes offered for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Any applicant shall be eligible for admission to any programme leading to the award of a degree, diploma or certificate if he/she satisfies the general entrance requirements of the University unless he/she has been granted exemptions.

Standard Qualifications
Every applicant must possess credit passes in at least five subjects obtained at grade 12 (General Certificate of Education) which must include English and Mathematics.
Alternate Qualifications
Qualifications other than those of General Certificate of Education may be accepted provided they are approved by the Senate.
A person holding a diploma of a University or College recognized by UCZ University may be regarded as having satisfied the general entrance requirements.
Mature Age Applicants
A candidate who is twenty five years of age or more in the academic year in which he proposes to enter the University may be accepted to any degree programme if he/she presents evidence of attainments which in the opinion of the University indicates that he/she has the capacity to pursue the proposed course of study.
Exemptions
Where a student admitted to the University produces satisfactory evidence that he has completed one or more courses or subjects of a course of study for a degree obtained at a University or College recognized by the Senate, such student may be granted credit in the subject at the discretion of Senate.

Medicals
International students will be required to have valid medical insurance. Further students will have access to the campus clinic or shall be determined by the university management.

The United Church of Zambia University (UCZU) online admission application form 2023 is open to all interested applicants irrespective of colour, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender, or national origin, provided they qualify for the programme for which they have applied.

Applicants can apply using the application form or apply online. First, you have to make sure that you meet the admission requirements of the programme of your choice.
Also Note – Once the United Church of Zambia University Admission Application Portal/Form 2023 close, new applications will not be accepted. So register now while the applications for each program is still ongoing.
The University will advertise in the media for applications to be submitted by eligible candidates. Applicants will be made through completion submission of application form online or obtainable from the university upon payment of a non-refundable fee. The application form will be required to be accompanied by an authenticated Photostat copy of the statement of results and any other documents in support of such application.
Successful applicants will be informed through letters of acceptance which will include the fees payable, the mode of payment of the fees and other relevant requirements.
