Regional Manager
Mobicom Africa Limited.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will Align, review and direct best sales and B2B/B2C sales partnership practices to suit the assigned local market.
Manage projects, stakeholder’s realignment (sales, Partners, etc.) The ideal candidate must possess a Deep knowledge of cross-functional business links and a 360-degree value chain mindset.
The incumbent will lead a team of Account Managers, Project Coordinators and Field Managers in the assigned Projects
Key Responsibilities
i. To carry out stakeholder meetings to push for the awarded targets delivery
ii. Responsible for the team performance of the aligned Projects and Reporting needs on a daily, Weekly and Monthly basis.
- Trade Development Team – Projects
- Direct Sales Agents – Projects
- Merchant Pay – Project
- Allied consultancy projects
iii. In charge of all communications to the attached line managers between Mobicom and the client.
iv. Will be responsible for the controls attached to different project lines and the company assets
v. Recruit Trade Development and DSA team with assistance from the Human resource Department to ensure no human resource gap in left in the attached projects
vi. Keeping sanity amongst the team and keeping at all times the company policy protected and adhered to.
vii. To carry out Team training activities within the areas of operation in line with the client’s directive.
viii. Have a clear understanding of the market demands on the products and services of the Client
ix. Identify and advice the business on future company needs hence future project opportunities within their areas of operations.
x. To manage sales teams to ensure the targets are made within assigned areas.
xi. Ensure the revenue lines are kept as per the Contract
xii. To manage ownership of the targets and share to the team attached.
xiii. To manage market competition and market intelligence.
xiv. To source potential expansion and distribution of products and services attached to the KPI
xv. To check on the visibility and merchandise within our outlets and the Gap analysis based on the market demand.
xvi. Scan for Opportunities in line with the business growth.
xvii. To offer support to Team on delivery of the team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- At least 8 years of sales experience in a related capacity or especially in Digital finance, digital payments solutions, and B2B/ B2C Sales focus
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and ability to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Expert understanding of service and product, and ability to innovate new ways the product can serve customers/ Partners
- Develop and execute Best in Class Standard Operating Procedure for sales, deployment, and execution for Zambia
- Experience in the Telecoms and Banks is an added advantage
- Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities
- Develop Annual Business Plan for a route to market implementation.
- Innate drive to succeed and take initiative
- Strong organizational talents and ability to work under pressure and in new environments
Skills and Abilities
- Possesses a good knowledge of economics and how current market trends influence sales
- Good leadership and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive and anticipates potential problems before they can hinder a company’s success
- Possesses good customer service skills
- Ability to draft a business Proposal, Business case drafting.
- Able to develop new sales strategies based upon prior experience
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively.
