Details of Gardaworld Security Services Vacancy Positions & How to Apply.
We are looking for a reliable and strong candidate to fill the post of Debt collector to contact debtors and claim outstanding debts towards their creditors. You will be responsible for recovering the money owed in as little time as possible.
This position can be stressful and difficult. A debt collector will have to be polite and sensitive towards people while also remaining committed to their purpose and persistent. Excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency are extremely useful to succeed in this task.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Planning course of action to recover outstanding payments
- Locating and contacting debtors to inquire of their payment status
- Sending of account statements to creditors
- Locate defaulting debtors, make plans to ensure payment and ensure payments plans are adhered to
Successful applicants must meet the minimum requirements below:
- ZICA level 3
- 3 yrs experience working as a Debt Collector in a reputable organisation
- Literacy with Accounting packages, Microsoft Dynamics Nav preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages
- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements and accounting ethics
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Apt in negotiating and persuading
- Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence and firmness
