GS Cash Advance Limited is a Zambian registered company that was formed with the prime aim of offering financial services to individuals that are in formal employment and are working for companies that GS has approved to be eligible companies in its data base. From the time the company was formed, it has grown and continues to grow through its provision of Salary advance, Short-term Loan and Bridging Finance Products. GS Cash Advance also take the pride in offering fast and efficient personal finance through a wide range of tailor made products available at all our branches across Zambia.

The company is currently inviting applications from suitable candidates to fill the position of Provincial Marketing Officer.

Overall job objective:

The overall responsibility of the Provincial Marketing Officer will be to develop sustainable Business to Business (B2B) and stakeholder relationships; strengthen brand affinity, marketing, product and market development in order to achieve financial and business targets. This will also include Customer Relationship Management to ensure consistent superior customer experience and the creation of a positive sustainable corporate citizenship.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Champion and Drive Strategies to deliver the strategic growth agenda in line with Short Term Plans (Annual budgets) & Medium Term Plans (MTP) set in collaboration with Directors and Shareholders measured by number of clients and value of business
  • Collaborate with Top and Senior management on effective outreach mechanisms and secure cost effective platforms to penetrate the markets e.g. presentations at various professional gatherings, institutions, corporate etc. to ensure on boarding of safe and profitable relationships.
  • Provide input into new product development as well as channels and distribution of products
  • Own vendor management for printing, billboards, media and branding
  • Design, coordinate and run marketing campaigns with measurable positive returns Provide thorough market intelligence on competitor activities, Product performance analytics, campaigns, product threats
  • Help build a distinct and consistent Corporate Identity (including overall branch outlook and marketing materials as per brand standards)
  • Design and manage a Customer Feedback mechanism that facilitates continuous flow of feedback for continuous improvement, championing of competitive advantage and speedy resolution of customer complaints
  • Develop a stakeholder engagement framework for maximising mutually beneficial relations with Employers of our clients, Regulators, Other Financiers, Technical and Professional bodies and other Strategic Partners
  • Champion development and delivery of a cost effective Corporate Social Responsibility / Investment plan for the business
  • Design and own development of a Communication and/or Media policy;
  • Overall responsibility for reputation management and company public relations, media engagement and official statements if required in line with media policy

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Business/Commercial/Social Sciences related degree from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in active marketing, campaigns, communications or sales environment
  • Should be in possession of a Valid Driver’s License
  • Strategic Thinker with Proven Communications skills
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage in a geographically and culturally dispersed environment.
  • Strong level of influence and negotiation skills.
  • Consultative, part leader and part doer
