JOB OPPORTUNITY

Urgently needed a result driven Bookkeeper by one of our clients in a reputable service industry organization in Lusaka.

DUTIES

Processing payments

Producing various financial reports

Bank reconciliation.

Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.

Maintain fixed asset register and keep it up to date.

Preparation and circulating of a weekly payments schedule.

Reconciliation of the supplier (creditor/payables) accounts by the 5th of every month.

Preparation of monthly Payroll and printing of pay slips.

Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers

Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions

Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.

Invoice processing and filing

MIMIMUM QULIFICATIONS

Grade 12 Certificate

Diploma in Accountancy, ZICA Level II or CA Zambia Level II, ACCA Level II or Degree in Accountancy or Equivalent.

SKILS AND COMPETENCIES

Proficient in Ms. Word and Excel /Good report writing abilities and Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good organizational and Leadership skills with the ability to work in a team

Must be Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

Must have working experience of at least 2 to 5 years in accounting field.

An eye for detail and accuracy

Highly numerical and able to interpret financial data

Preferably Lusaka residents.
