Details of Zambia Institute of Mass Communications Vacancy Positions & How to Apply.
The Zambia Institute of Mass Communication (ZAMCOM) was established under the ZAMCOM Act of Parliament of 1996 to provide Communications and Media training and production services to government, non-government, private sector and individual clients within Zambia and the Southern African region. ZAMCOM has recently been undergoing a corporate renewal and is currently implementing a new strategic plan aiming at positioning the organization to becoming financially viable and independent.
As part of its transformation process, ZAMCOM is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the following vacancy;
MASS COMMUNICATIONS LECTURER/TUTOR (PART-TIME)
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act in accordance with the University’s strategy, policy and procedures.
- Use appropriate learning, teaching, support and assessment methods.
- Set and mark assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in the supervision of student projects at Diploma level.
- Contribute to the design and development of high quality, up to date Journalism & Public Relations courses.
- Contribute to the administration and development of the course provision within the school.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree in Journalism & Public Relations from a recognized university.
- Must be a member of a relevant body
- At least Two (2) years of lecturing experience.
