Details of Unity Finance Job Positions 2019
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, documenting and entering transactions.
Job Duties:
- Prepare, document and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintain and balance any applicable subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist Senior Accountant with monthly audit file reconciliations.
- Provide information and schedules for auditors.
- Prepare monthly VAT and WHT returns.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Requirements:
- Accounting qualifications, ACCA or equivalent preferred
- ZICA membership
- 3 to 5 years working experience in accounting field
- Knowledge/experience in accounting function of banking/financial institutions is a plus.
