Details of Zambia Agency for Persons With Disabilities Vacancy Positions & How to Apply.
The Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities is a Government Agency, established under Act No. 6 of 2012. The agency is mandated with the responsibility of coordinating and providing services to persons with disabilities.
The Agency is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following position:
SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER
Main Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Â Recruitment and selection
- Management/Implementation of Performance Appraisal System
- Interpretation of the conditions of service
- Career development and counseling
- Managing the staff welfare including HIV/AIDS
- Updating employees register/Leave Management
- Ensuring that the Agency complies with the Employment Act and the Industrial relations Act.
- Designing and implementing of induction/orientation programs for new employees
- Promoting and ensuring compliance with agreed Human Resources Policies and Practice.
- Coordinate and prepare annual training plans and budget estimates for the department and entire organisation
- Supervise confidential registry and confidential files
- Supervision of registry staff.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports
Qualifications and Relevant Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor in Human Resource Management/Public Administration
- Grade twelve certificate
- Must be a paid up member of ZIHRM
- Minimum of 2 years work experience
Other Skills and Attributes
- Ability to work under stressful environment
- Must be computer literate
- Good interpersonal skills
