Details of Juba Transport Limited Vacancy Positions & How to Apply.
Juba Transport Limited requires the services of a qualified person to fill the position of Auto-Electrician; specialised in the repair of Volvo, Scania, and Iveco and Sino trucks, to be based in Lusaka.
Job Purpose:
To repair and overhaul electrical systems by both visual inspection and specialised diagnostic equipment of vehicles and workshop machinery. Install, maintain, identify faults and repair electrical wiring and computer based equipment in vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing electronic diagnostics on Trucks and other vehicles to identify faults
- Repairing electrical and electronic faults in Trucks and motor vehicles, replacing damaged/faulty parts where necessary
- Performing checks and tests to verify the success of repair work
- Assembling and installing electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles
- Performing routine maintenance on motor vehicles
Qualification and Requirements:
- Proven specialised experience in the repair of Volvo, Scania, Iveco, and Sino Trucks, a must
- Trade qualified as an Auto-Electrician
- 5 years’ work experience in a similar position.
- Auto electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of diagnostics tech tools for vehicle electrical and electronics
- Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics and circuit diagrams
