Lusaka International Community School, (LICS), is e leading Pre-Primacy, Primary and Secondery School based in the leafy suburb of Roma in Lusaka, Zambia. LICS is Cambridge Assessment International Education school (CAE), and a member of the Council of International Schools.

We seek to appoint a KS1 CLASSROOM TEACHER with effect 1 August 2020.

We are looking for experienced teachers who are dynamic and have the ability to deliver quality, engaging and challenging lessons. Experience ofthe Cambridge or other international curricula is essential. The successful candidate will be a ‘global citizen’ , one who understands the wider world – and their place in it as educators.

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:

• Be up to dete with the Cambridge (CAIE) and / or the English National Curriculum and essessment standards.
• Possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 years relevant teaching experience.
• Experience in integrating technology into the curriculum and the use of iPads in a meaningful manner.
• Proven experience as a Curriculum Coordinator or Grade Head
• Proven experience in delivering professional devebpment.
• Be a dynamic, driven person with a desire for educational excellence.
• Proven experience in a multi-cultural school environment.
• Ability to facilitate differentiated teaching and cater for leamers with varying degrees of English language mastery.
• An appreciation of international School Child Safeguarding Standards.
