1. Bachelorâs degree in education or an equivalent professional qualification
2. Five years working experience
3. Experience in private school
4. Five credits
5. Proven success in a range of strategic roles including data management, self-evaluation and school improvement
6. Knowledge of best practice and procedures for safeguarding children and young people
7. High level of personal skill in using and applying information and communication technology (ICT)
8. Good organisational abilities and ability to delegate.
9. Successful experience of providing for pupils with additional learning needs.
10. Proven senior leadership and management experience of at least 3 years, as a successful headteacher or as a deputy headteacher in a large primary school.
11. Be able to identify and communicate a clear vision for the future which will move the school out of special measures and be understood and acted upon by the whole school community.
12. Proven experience of significantly raising pupil achievement and a strong commitment to ensuring that every pupil succeeds.
A proven track record of âexcellenceâ as a class teacher
14. Maximum 40 years old
15. Thorough knowledge of the national curriculum
16. Merit in English and Mathematics
