Marketing Officer Ref No. MO/LB/01/11/21
Reports to Business Development Manager – Lab. The incumbent is responsible for implementing the Lab business marketing strategy.
Main duties
- Researches and analyzes market trends in the designated provinces.
- Identifies new/potential markets and products.
- Gathers comments from clients to identify areas of improvement in product offerings
- Submits weekly marketing reports to Business Manager
- Conducts promotional activities and distribution of marketing material
- Evaluates competitor products and make recommendations aimed at keeping the business competitive
- Plans advertising and promotional campaigns for products and services
- Prepares content for the publication and oversee distribution
Qualifications
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Advanced Diploma in Business Studies preferably Marketing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
- Proficient in relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office suite and web applications.
- Two years post qualifications experience in a similar role
- Previous work in the health care sector will be an added advantage
