NAKAMBALA- ZAMBIA
GRADE – GG12
Unitrans Africa has an exciting new opportunity for a Land Prep Manager in Zambia.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Schooling qualification
- A tertiary qualification in Logistics, Agriculture or similar
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge in word and excel packages
- 3-5 years management/ supervisory experience
- Interpersonal skills with special emphasis on industrial relations
- Excellent customer service skills
Advert Description
- Specialized Management: Land Preparation Services
- Implementing the new Minimum Tillage Land Preparation System
- Implementing the new UNIPLAN production monitoring system
- Coordinate and oversee mechanized land preparation operations
- Knowledge of field survey process and ability to interpret maps and designs
- Working knowledge of the crop (s) being cultivated
- Manage all aspects of equipment performance and productivity
- Become proficient with supporting hardware and/or systems that may be introduced from time to time (keep pace with technology)
- Actively seek opportunities to expand the business
- Compile and present meaningful reports to management & the client
General Management: Management of operational processes and contracts/service:
Management of financial and administration requirements
Management of safety, health, environment and quality
Effective management of human resources
Effective customer relationship management
