Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:

  • To provide administrative support to Chief Sales and Distribution Officer and department, and follows through general office management procedures to facilitate smooth operations of the department
  • Maintain general office upkeep of equipment and maintenance, stocking office and stationary supplies.
  • Attend to office calls and transfer appropriately.
  • Coordinate purchasing process for the department.
  • Interact with visitors, suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain office calendar and diary for the Chief Sales & Distribution Officer.
  • Prepare communications for Chief Sales & Distribution Officer and entire department.
  • Undertake general office management and administration.
  • Undertake travel arrangements for local and international travel.
  • Undertake general clerical duties including, typing copying, mailing as well as filing.
  • File and retrieve organizational documents, records and reports.
  • Coordinate and maintain departmental records and expense claims.
  • Compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.
  • Coordinate meetings and function arrangements for the department

Candidate Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better- English and Mathematics are a must
  • College Diploma in administration or secretarial
  • Experience of three (3) years in an administrative role in a corporate environment carrying out  general office responsibilities and procedures
