The purpose and role of the Madison Health Opticians Limited
General Management
- Sales Management
- Inventory Management
- Monitor quality control of products and services
- Ensure a pleasing experience for customers
- Planning, directing and coordinating eye care services
- Ensure that the Company’s operations are efficient and effective as to advance the profit and other objectives of the company – Full P&L  responsible
- Ensure that the company’s processes and administrative environment remain efficient and effective at all times.
- Assist in developing and implementing the strategic goals and initiatives of the optical center
- To meet the strategic objectives, targets, budgeted income and profits of the companies as agreed from time to time.
- Assure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously review the performance of the company and make recommendations to the Managing Director on measures to be taken for improvement.
- Quality reporting and analysis, while making recommendations and advice to management and assisting with the implementation of these recommendations to improve performance
- Ensuring that all internal and external audit recommendations are promptly and timely addressed.
- Sourcing for suppliers
Marketing, Product Development and Distribution Channels
- Source for and introduce new products.
- Develop and implement new distribution channels.
- Develop and implement new Strategic alliances.
Capacity Building
- Responsible for enhancing capacity in junior staff.
- Ensure that staff training and development plans are in place and managed to the full expectations of the company.
- Train key personnel as way of transferring skills to enhance capacity in Staff.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS, QUALITIES & ATTRIBUTES
- Must hold a valid practicing license with HPC
- At least five years’ experience in retail shop management
- Must possess a valid and current driver’s license
- Advanced computer skills
- Inventory Management skills
- High level of self-motivation, initiative, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field
