Details of Fortune Foods Vacancy Positions & How to Apply.

Fortune Foods is accepting applications from suitably qualified persons. The incumbent will be responsible for

a) Preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for all employees on the SAGE payroll system for Fortune Foods (This includes the entire cycle of payroll processing from capturing of new employees, leave, terminations, redundancies, absenteeism, overtime, incentives and commissions.

b) Prepare Payroll report and bank files and send them to Finance Manager.

c) Review and ensure accuracy of approved advances, travel and overtime claims;

d) Responsible for the coordination between payroll and human resources, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data

e) Handle the administration of the Biometric system

f) Maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization.

g) Generating of statutory obligations e.g PAYE, NAPSA and Others

h) Maintain a proper document control system

i) Keep abreast with company policies and tax legislation that impact on remuneration

j) Prepare month-end journals and reporting integrating to the financial system. (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports, e.g expense claims, overtime, leave balances, head count, and month end reports)

k) Send out payslips to staff members at month end.

l) Communicate payroll changes to the HR Manager and Finance Manager and on time

m) Prepare monthly pension schedules and sent to Accounts payable

Job Requirements

  • Full grade twelve certificate
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounts or Business Administration
  • Pro-efficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage Payroll System
  • Experience  3-5 years working experience in HR and Payroll.
